Junior F Ernest Sheehan was the leading scorer with 75 points. Junior C Sid Jenkins was second with 69 points. Senior F Charles Salmon was third in scoring with 45 points, and sophomore G Paul Lyne was fourth with 34 points.
Lyne would go on to become head basketball coach and President of Rio Grande College. The current gymnasium at Rio Grande bears Lyne's name.

Senior C Sid Jenkins led the team with a school record 197 points. Senior F Ernest Sheehan was next with 160 points. Jenkins and Sheehan formed a formidable one-two punch, as they became the first duo to score 100+ points in the same season. The dynamic duo each posted games of 22 points, tying them for the single-game scoring record. Senior F Harry Pyles was third in scoring with 61 points. Junior G Paul Lyne was fourth in scoring with 58 points, and senior G/C William Meredith was fifth with 30 points.

Senior F James Sheehan, the younger brother of Ernest Sheehan, was second in scoring with 118 points, including a school-record 24 points against East Liverpool. Sophomore C William Booth was third with 72 points. Senior G George Ritter finished fourth, tallying 45 points.

Senior G/F Halton Suitt was second in scoring with 131 points. Suitt was followed closely by junior C William Booth with 126 points.

The loss to Steele was in what would be considered today as the Regional Finals. Steele went on to the "Final Four" along with Piqua, Akron Central, and Mt. Vernon.

Cambridge's leading scorer was senior "Zip" Behen with a school-record 454 points in 19 games. Behen missed the New Lexington game due to tonsilitis. Behen also reset his own single-game mark of 46 points with 68 points against Woodsfield. Behen also notched games of 53, 45, 40, 31 (twice), 29, 28, 27, 23 and 20 during his senior campaign.
Sophomore F Herman "Heinie" Schultz was second to Behen with 175 points.
Behen finished his career with 1,271 points, then a school record.
"Zip" went on to play for West Virginia University.

The 23-12 home loss to Marietta was the first-ever loss at McMahon Gymnasium, ending a streak of 25 consecutive home wins.
The 31-28 win at Bellaire was the 100th win in CHS history.
Junior F Herman "Heinie" Schultz was the leading scorer with 213 points, despite missing the first five games of the season. Senior C Willard Forsythe was second on the team with 168 points. Senior F William Jenkins tallied 110 points and Senior G John Cunningham finished with 97 points.

Cambridge advanced to the "Final Four" of the Ohio Wesleyan tournament, which was recognized as the State Basketball Tournament, losing to Dayton Stivers 20-3 in the semi-finals. Akron Central defeated Canton McKinley 35-18 in the other semi-final game. Stivers then defeated Akron Central 28-19 in the State Championship game.

The tournament at Marietta College was called the Ohio Valley Tournament. Marietta won this tournament, while Bellaire was awarded second-place despite being eliminated in the first round!

Senior F Herman "Heinie" Schultz led Cambridge in scoring with 326 points. The 326 points total was the third-highest single season total in school history, behind "Zip" Behen's 454 in the 1917-1918 season and 386 in 1916-1917. Schultz's career total of 737 points was number two behind Behen's 1,271 point total.
Junior C Ed Riley was second on the team with 130 points.
